The church is located at on Van Slyke Road in Flint–just south of Bristol Road

The main two elements of a Sunday AM service are singing and practical teaching of the Word of God. We think you will find a welcoming, friendly group of people that will allow you to enjoy the service at your level of comfort. We don’t single out guests; we want you to feel comfortable. And when the offering plate comes around, there is no obligation for you to give. A great way for you to get the feel of our worship services is for you to watch one live; just press the "Join Us LIVE STREAM" banner at the top of this page.

Sunday School and Core Classes, which are for the entire family, start at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Morning Service starts at 10:30 AM. Most Life Groups meet on Sunday evenings at 6 PM. Some Wednesday Evening Activities begin at 6:30 PM, some a little later—check the web page of the ministry in which you are interested to see the specific start time.

South has great programming for all children during each service. We have trained adults who consider it a great privilege to teach and care for your children. Our goal is to help children develop a daily relationship with God, ground them in God’s Word, and give them the opportunity to discover and develop their God-given gifts and skills.

We believe that God cares more about what is in our hearts than the clothes we wear (1 Samuel 16:7). We do not have a dress code. You’ll see some wearing suits and some wearing shorts—just dress comfortably.

The pastors are real men who are on their own journey to Christ-likeness. They all have families to lead, lawns to mow, and favorite foods, just like you! Several times a year we offer an About Us Lunch — a free meal after the Sunday morning service to let you meet the pastoral staff and their families and ask them any questions you might have.
