Life Groups
Scripture makes it very clear that Christ-followers cannot grow in isolation. We need others around us to stretch us, strengthen us, encourage us, and keep us accountable.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
Continued progression down the path toward discipleship requires involvement in genuine, biblical community, which doesn’t happen accidentally in our lives. Therefore, the purpose of our Life Groups Ministry is to provide a predictable environment that provides participants with an opportunity to build meaningful relationship that will promote genuine life change.
The answer to the following questions, should provide you all the information you need about this ministry:
Who? - Each group will consist of 10-12 adults (and their families) meeting together, with each group being led by a Life Group Facilitator.
What? - Each group meets for about an hour and half – including a time of food/fellowship, application discussion centered around the morning worship service message, purposeful prayer, and small group care.
Where? - Each group will meet outside of the church, in the home of someone within the church.
When? – Most groups meet on Sunday at a time determined by the group. The groups do not meet the first week of every month, as we all meet together as a church family, at the church, for a time of worship, communion, testimonies, special events, business meeting, etc.
If you want a place where in the safety of a small group, you can take off your mask and be real with others and get help and give help, as well as get real help and encouragement from others so that you don’t have to walk through this life alone, Then we would encourage you to call the church office and speak with one of the pastors about getting plugged into one of our Life Groups.
